Our story

We are Mark and Savannah, the soon-to-be Sweeney's. We have been together for almost seven years and are recently engaged. Our family is growing by one more July 2025 with a baby boy, and we are so excited. We both grew up and have spent most of our lives in Middle Tennessee, and now reside in Dickson, Tennessee, where our small family farm operates. Midd-Tenn Farms focuses on beekeeping, where we hope to grow the number of hives we have into the hundreds in the near future. When not out in the hives on nights and weekends, Mark works full time as a diesel mechanic at Kubota, and Savannah is a realtor. We strive to maintain hives that are strong, healthy, and hygienic.  

Beekeeping is a mixture of fun and hard. The bees have a way of always keeping us on our toes and humble. Just when you think you have it figured out, the bees surprise you, and you are right back to learning something new. We are so excited to see what the future holds for Midd-Tenn Farms, and hope you enjoy our honey as much as we do.
